Galaxy S7 Edge compared to S7

**Updated on 2/17
Black Galaxy S7
Similar front camera and sensor layout as the Galaxy S6.  The home key is a little bigger and squared as the renders detailed.

There's a small trim around the camera and the heartbeat sensor is square rather than the circle in the Galaxy S6.  The right of the phone still sports the volume keys in the same location as previously.

Power button to the left remains the same size and placement.

A press render of the Galaxy S7 on top of a Galaxy S7 edge.  Here you see the same micro-USB connector, 3.5mm audio jack, volume key layout, and antenna bands as the Galaxy S6.

For some, Galaxy means Android phone so it's not a surprise that the Samsung Galaxy S7 is one of the most anticipated devices for the year. After releasing a significant update last year with the S6, Samsung looks to fine tune the design by addressing the weaknesses such as memory card and battery life.

Most of the front remains the same such as back and task buttons, front facing camera placement, and sensors.  The home key is taller this time.

Back render:
The camera protrudes less (approximately 0.8mm) from the body, both sides of the phone are curved, and the sensor package seems to merge the heart rate monitor from 2 to one.  LED flash is still included.
